The general fund it is.
The Albemarle County Board of Supervisors on Wednesday threw its support behind funding the county’s water resources program out of the budget instead of through a stormwater utility fee. An official vote was not taken.
“When we come back in December, we’ll be prepared to talk about options in the general fund,” County Executive Jeff Richardson said. “What we won’t be doing is modeling a stormwater utility in various ways; we’re looking strictly at strategies that tie directly to the general fund. We’ll take that as the direction.”
