‘Something needs to be done’: Dialogue on Race moves forward

The Charlottesville Dialogue on Race is moving forward, and plans for potential community initiatives are now being discussed by area residents committed to improving race relations and equity in the community.

Members of the Dialogue met together in different groups Monday at the Jefferson School African American Heritage Center to start laying out their own plans for how to pursue initiatives and achieve goals that were proposed and voted upon in a series of meetings organized last year by Charlene Green, director of the city’s Office of Human Rights.
