Non-resident students’ consumption of school capacity has become a growing concern among some in Charlottesville.
But just how significant is their impact on school spaces and staffing remains an open question.
Even as Albemarle County has been undergoing a difficult decision process on redistricting schools to relieve overcrowding at some sites, Charlottesville has been exploring the possible need to expand capacity or reorganize classrooms for the same reason.
