RWSA water restrictions are unlikely despite Sugar Hollow drawdown
The Daily Progress Wednesday, January 03, 2018 at 10 p.m.
The Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority last month stopped piping water from the Sugar Hollow Reservoir to fill the Ragged Mountain Reservoir after the latter reached 81 percent full, authority Executive Director Bill Mawyer told the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors on Wednesday.
The RWSA transferred about four million gallons of water per day from Sugar Hollow from Nov. 1 to Dec. 27, Mawyer said.
