The Albemarle County School Board is moving $210,977 in instructional costs originally earmarked for Yancey Elementary School to cover the cost of housing additional students at Scottsville Elementary School.
The money will be used to set up modular units, also known as a learning cottage, to house 60 students who originally would have attended Yancey Elementary.
