Sal Musarra is going to get to know this area really, really well.
He’s a project manager for the consultancy involved in two separate local transportation projects: Charlottesville’s Belmont Bridge replacement and the Hydraulic-U.S. 29 intersection redesign.
At the first meeting to collect public input on the Hydraulic-U.S. 29 project, topics ranged widely.
Kimberly-Horn, the company for which Mr. Musarra works, is consulting with the state and the localities on the issue of potential redevelopment in the area. Another company is working on the transportation issue itself.
But these must be carefully integrated.
