Opinion/Editorial: Field School gets chance at new site
Daily Progress Editorial Friday, March 10, 2017 at 6 a.m.
After recent controversies over development in Crozet and elsewhere, it’s a pleasant change to witness Albemarle County’s approval of a new site for the Field School of Charlottesville.
A new campus just off Barracks Road will allow it to expand and better serve its students.
The relocation required a special-use permit. The permit was recommended for approval, first by county staff and then by the Planning Commission.
The Board of Supervisors unanimously approved it this week.
But not without appropriate changes.
